The two kinds
- Templates — Complete surveys — customer satisfaction, NPS, employee engagement, concept and ad tests, event feedback, forms, quizzes, and more. Field one as-is or treat it as a first draft.
- Blocks — Partial bundles meant to be added to an existing survey. Demographics, DEI, and firmographics blocks are the common ones.
Templates decide their own demographics
Every template declares whether it should include demographic questions, and the platform respects that rather than overriding it. Consumer and market-research templates typically include the short block; HR templates, forms, and quizzes typically do not, because demographics are tonally wrong or a re-identification risk in those contexts.
You can always change it afterwards from the tier selector in the editor.
Templates built around a known method — NPS, CES, CSAT, eNPS, MaxDiff, Van Westendorp, Gabor-Granger and others — tell the dashboard how to chart them, so you get the right analysis rather than a generic bar chart.
